Betty, my grandmother, was the most elegant woman I have ever met. I can remember sitting at the foot of her bed, immersed in watching her get ready to host one of her cocktail parties.

As a little girl she was the first woman I ever thought of as being truly glamorous. Always in her arsenal...the perfect black dress, a lush fur coat, and the best jewels to match. Even a trip to the grocery store always included over-sized sun glasses and a patterned silk scarf as a head wrap.

June, my husband’s grandmother, was one of the most beautiful and amazing women I have ever met. June is a self-proclaimed ‘tomboy’ at heart.
